I have some dear friends that have been and incredible encouragement to our family – one of which is an incredibly talented photographer. As is the case with a lot of families, geography has made it tough to get together regularly and they wanted to capture it. Since she needed to be in the pictures, I got a call to be behind the camera. When an accomplished photographer asks you to shoot her family, you DO NOT refuse!

We got three generations together at our family farm, and though the day was cloudy (good for me from a lighting standpoint) and a little rainy (bad for me from a gear standpoint), I can say that it was an absolute gas and a real honor to be there for the family who has been there for us!
