Our marriage mentors went over the top with a beautiful table and atmosphere for Jocelyn’s Detroit baby shower. Robyn did the whole thing in a “feather the nest” theme, including baklava shaped like bird’s nests! As you can see, there were some especially clever gifts along with some of the old stand-bys.

It’s pretty humbling to see how the community has grown around my transplanted Ohioan wife in such a short time. Old friends and new came to support and love us in our new adventure. Big thanks to the Carnill clan for setting such a fine party!

And allow me to introduce to you: Mr. Christian David Curtis – Unplugged! (along with his proud mom!). Christian is the very brave son of some very brave parents – dear friends of our family. He is the picture of what prayer and leaning on God can do. Born 3+ months premature, he has been growing and is now essentially free of his respirator during the day.
